The Ruggie Framework and its Missing Regulatory Infrastructure
Rescheduled for November 27 (originally November 29)
At noon on November 27, John Howe, Associate Professor and Director, Centre for Employment and Labour Relations Law, Melbourne Law School, will be giving a talk entitled “The Ruggie Framework and its Missing Regulatory Infrastructure.” The talk will be held in room K8A, Klein Hall.
Prof. Howe's research interests include regulatory theory, corporate accountability and labour law, and he teaches in the areas of corporations law, corporate social responsibility and labour law. John is also a member of the Centre for Corporate Law and Securities Regulation. John has written extensively on the nature of various mechanisms of labour regulation, and the intersection between state-based regulation and corporate governance. John is co-editor of the book Labour Law and Labour Market Regulation published by Federation Press in 2006, and his book Regulating for Job Creation was published by Federation Press in late 2008.
