Course Description
The theme of this course will be the changing role of the prosecutor, from managing cases through police activity to proactively problem solving, and attempting to reduce crime and recidivism through a more holistic approach. The course will start with a comparative evaluation of prosecution roles in other legal systems and the evolution of the American prosecutor, with particular emphasis on the wide latitude and discretion afforded American prosecutors.

Course runs from January 14th to April 19th. Students will follow spring break schedule for Temple. For most of the semester, class will be held at Drexel University Kline Institute of Trial Advocacy 12th & Chestnut Sts.
