Course Description
This seminar will explore how the law shapes reproductive decision-making through a variety of mechanisms designed to regulate and control sexuality, bodies, and family relationships. Course materials pose challenging questions about the role of government institutions, economic systems, and social structures in influencing or impeding the realization of reproductive rights. The seminar is appropriate for students who wish to study reproductive rights in greater depth and for all students interested in exploring issues relevant to various forms of social justice lawyering.
