Course Description

In the Fall 2024 semester, the clinic will support human rights defenders working in a community-based organization in Kenya in local advocacy and litigation over the country’s shift to digital delivery of essential public services like provision of official documents, social protection (welfare), education and health. The project addresses direct and indirect discrimination in how the digital transformation of public institutions impacts ethnic and religious minority communities, pastoralists, people with disabilities, and other groups that face barriers to access and use digital services.
