Course Description

This course explores the relationship between law and property, focusing on issues of ownership, possession, and use of both personal and real property. It examines how property rights and interests are transferred and how conflicts are resolved, both in the presence and absence of agreements. The course covers key doctrines such as trespass, real estate transactions, adverse possession, nuisance, covenants, present and future interests, co-ownership, zoning, takings, and landlord-tenant relations.
