Course Description

Building on the skills developed in Legal Research and Writing I, this course introduces students to legal analysis in the context of advocacy. Students further develop their research and analytical abilities and learn to craft persuasive legal arguments.

The course emphasizes techniques of legal persuasion, including how to evaluate legal authority within an advocacy context, how to structure written arguments effectively, and how to refine editing strategies. Throughout the semester, students engage in practical exercises that simulate real-world legal practice.
