Course Description

This course examines the law and policy of international trade in goods and services. After exploring the economics and politics of international trade it focuses on the core legal obligations that states have under the World Trade Organization. The cours will also examine tariffs and non-tariff barriers, food safety, regional trade agreements, and trade remedy measures, as well as geopolitical tensions between major trading partners.
