Course Description

This course explores the legal protections available in civil proceedings for interference with a person's physical, property, and intangible interests (for example, through an action for negligence). Students will examine the historical and theoretical foundations of tort liability to understand modern tort law and recognize evolving trends in tort responsibility as society changes.
